Phonathon
is the telephone-based annual fund drive on the
Arkansas State University campus. From the Annual Giving Center in the Administration Building, ASU students and faculty contact alumni asking for pledges of support for various programs, colleges and departments on the A-State campus. During Spring Phonathon, ASU faculty and alumni volunteer, along with students, in contacting alums. Professors and alums enjoy keeping in touch with one another, and students are able to make contacts and relay current happenings on campus to alumni. They also alert alums to the giving opportunities available in specific colleges and departments, as well as special programs that are in progress. |
Community support for Phonathon is as strong as campus support. Restaurants and businesses in the Jonesboro community support Phonathon through gifts of food and drink, as well as prizes, for Phonathon volunteers. If your business or restaurant would like to support Phonathon, click here.
