Information Privacy Policy
You are a valued friend and supporter, and we at Arkansas State University strongly believe in protecting our relationships with current and prospective donors. We recognize that these relationships are based on integrity and trust, and we work hard to maintain your privacy and are very careful to preserve the private nature of our relationship with you. We have adopted the following policies and procedures to safeguard the personal information about you in our possession.
1. We do not sell or rent our client lists or personal information about
you to anyone outside the university
community. We do
share information with other internal university groups, such as colleges
and
departments.
2. Our policy is to require that all employees keep client information confidential.
3. Our privacy policy applies to current, former and future clients.

Our privacy policy is to permit employees to access your personal information
only if they have an
internal, university
related or Foundation-related business purpose for using such information, such
as
administering or
developing services for you, our clients.
5. Our Ethics Statement requires all employees to safeguard personal information about our clients.
We collect nonpublic personal information from you or your authorized agent; however, this is only used in accordance with your direction and understanding. The Arkansas State University Foundation, Inc., will share personal information in connection with its activities if compelled to do so by a legal or regulatory authority. Further, the ASU Foundation hires third parties to provide certain administrative services, such as preparing address labels or sorting mail for general mailings that may require sharing your name and address with these providers. While we believe these providers are ethical and we ask them to safeguard all information we share with them, we do not control their activities or employees.
It is our intent to provide the greatest possible service to our friends and supporters while maintaining a level of trust expected when dealing with financial matters.
